Suffolk Pride 13th September 2009

The Suffolk Lesbian & Gay Helpline, Suffolk County Council and Suffolk Constabulary have joined forces with members of the gay community to organise Suffolk Pride, the first ever event in Suffolk celebrating the LGBT community. This event will be taking place on Sunday 13th of September 2009, between midday and 6pm in Christchurch Park, Ipswich.

Suffolk Pride will promote equality and diversity through engagement, fun and entertainment. On the day there will be live stage performances, stalls and concessions where families and friends can enjoy an afternoon of good food and entertainment, The day promises to be an explosion of pride in Suffolk and expects over 3000 visitors.

Suffolk Pride aims to unite people in a celebrative atmosphere where everyone is welcome.
