Help Pinke's Newest Charity Raise £10k from a 10k
Wednesday 18th June 2008
Pinke.biz has recently adopted the Albert Kennedy Trust as one of its official charities for the year, making a donation to the cause.

Formed in 1989 after the tragic death of Albert Kennedy, the AKT provides safe and supportive homes for young gays and lesbians who would otherwise be homeless or trapped in hostile environments.
The Albert Kennedy Trust is appealing to all members and friends of the LGBT community to take part in the British 10k in aid of The Albert Kennedy Trust.
The event, taking place on Sunday 6th July has already run out of individual places and only charity places are left. In order to gain a place, runners ideally have to raise a minimum of £100 through sponsorship. All money raised will go to helping the young LGBT people.
Tim Sigsworth, Chief Executive of the Albert Kennedy Trust said;
“What better way is there to spend a Sunday than running through London in aid of the Albert Kennedy Trust? This is the first of many sponsored events we will be organising in the capital so join us and help us to change the lives of young LGBT people who are homeless or living in hostile environments”.
Jonathan Penny, Fundraising & Communication Officer of the Albert Kennedy Trust said;
“I am running for the Albert Kennedy Trust and it would be great to get as many people as possible to join Team AKT on the 6th July. It is a fantastic event and the course takes you past some of London’s most famous landmarks. Come and join me on what promises to be a great day raising funds to help the young LGBT people we work with.”
